IRFT is using its network of NGOs and Corporate sector to reach aid to the Covid19 affected.
IRFT is a leading Social Enterprise and operates as a Trust since 1995. We at IRFT work closely with Agri and Non-Agri communities across India. We develop and implement customised projects to suit the needs of the beneficiaries. In the current scenario, families in villages and urban slums are struggling to get food, basic hygiene items, clean water and healthcare. People are losing their livelihoods; many of them are living in overcrowded dwellings as they have nowhere else to go. In such conditions, COVID-19 could cause devastating, exponential harm to these families and communities living in close proximity with their families and communities. These conditions prove most detrimental to a basic need of social distancing and pose greater risks to staying safe and protected against COVID19.
Be that the reality IRFT is working around the situation to provide livelihood opportunity and thereby ensure basic nutrition, to build their resistance and fight the virus that can attack communities that can never then be contained.
IRFT is acting as a single-point contact - building partnerships, co-ordinating activities, monitoring execution and reporting success to contributing donor companies & other Alliance stakeholders. IRFT works with very small NGOs, Entreprener Artisans, Small holder Farmers, Factory Workers,in Urban slums and rrural areas
In response to this pandemic, there is a need to ramp up these efforts to help ensure that these vulnerable communities have adequate resources and clear guidance on their use.
Hence, we are writing an appeal to support our beneficiaries. Details can be provided of the beneficiary groups when needed.

You may or may not be aware of the recent development during the COVID19 pandemic that has struck the world, facing a universal catastrophe like never before in this century. YES, our government has announced that the 2% CSR funds can be utilised in any activity related to COVID 19 in line with activities listed in items (i) to (x)
A good opportunity to do good with your CSR funds, and though it is so chaotic out there, you may wonder as to where will you start and how will you go about it.
