Women Empowerment Trainings in Rajasthan

45 cumin farmers from Bilara FPC and Osian FPC attended our training

The sessions were predominantly practical and focused on strengthening FPOs, developing leadership qualities and skills among women farmers for the effective and sustainable functioning of FPOs.

28 women farmers were also trained in Ahore. Unique training tools were created to engage with women effectively on women’s empowerment.

We had planned for 3 trainings in Rajasthan out of which a one-day Women Empowerment Training was conducted on 21^st Sep,2026 at Hotel Mapple Abhay, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, with the participation of 45 cumin farmers, comprising representatives from Bilara FPC and Osian FPC.

The training was conducted from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and was facilitated by two resource persons, Ms. Taveshi and Ms. Seavignya. The sessions were predominantly practical and focused on strengthening FPOs, developing leadership qualities and skills among women farmers for the effective and sustainable functioning of FPOs.

Another training program with the same objective was conducted on 22^nd Sep, 2026, at Ahore, with the cooperation of Ahore FPC also. This was attended by 28 farmers.
